  • @Kcftball88 you cover there mouth so that no MORE water gets in their lungs. And whats a better way of recovering a submerged victim then?

  • the standard for your NLS (national lifeguarding service)(it's a course all canadian lifeguards must take to become lifeguards) requires you to meet these physical standards, one being an unaided deep water submerged recovery.

  • @DrPepper74719 . Weak*

  • @ditchmonkey2 you dont need one

  • @Forever21plus The National Lifeguard Service (NLS) is for Canada.

  • This video is not standard. Which nation is this for? No offense

  • @AnthonyThornton People may take you more seriously if you would learn some basic grammar and spelling to go along with that lifeguard license.

  • @AnthonyThornton In canada, we're ranked as better lifeguards, so we tend to stop any more water from entering their lungs by covering their mouth. Also, by covering their mouth and nose, you are not keeping the water in their lungs. If there is water in their lungs, its going to be a lot harder to get it out than just letting it drain as you swim up.

  • physical standard :P
