Sreenidhi won Idea Super Singer 2008 conducted by MAA TV.
The programme started with more than 3000 singers contesting back in May 2008. Sreenidhi made it to the finals along with four other singers and stood first.

Thats bullshit ... Why are Idea Super singer, Super Idol obscene? Great loss? You got your calculations totally wrong buddy... if you are a real music lover, you will bless her.
You obviously judged her as a good Carnatic singer and when she was recognized on this podium, how can that podium be obscene?
Anyway, I definitely see your passion towards Carnatic but be a lil more open...

It's sad to see this really talented Carnatic singer being dragged into the obscene world of Ideas singer and Super Idol etc. Another great loss for the world of Carnatic music.
