@silversurferonline I can defintely agree that accolades are NOT the only determining factor of a good artist or not but they do help when someone great has accolades to back up their prowess. Like jordan is clearly one of the best if not the best players to ever play the game and what truely atests to his greatness is his accolades. Cuz unless you grow up in the era when the artist or player did their craft only accolades can carry their legacy not just word of mouth

@tnn2006 While I largely agree w/ U, 2day's entertainment industry is HEAVILY BIASED. BIG, PAC, PUN, RAKIM, KOOL G RAP, BIG L, REDMAN, BIG DADDY KANE, KOOL MOE DEE, SNOOP DOGG & NAS earned a combined total of 0 Grammys. Until ppl like them get their due there shouldn't even be Grammys for rap music. Accolades are good, but cant always be trusted.

So what im saying is music itself changed and just and alot of untalented people get them. But they push their songs on the radio until they can kind of make you like it. While peole like techn9ne arent ever heard of. So the way I see it if lil wayne has more awards than techn9ne that wouldn't make him better and its the same here. Just opinion.

Grammys and platinum albums dont mean shit. You'll remember Grammy winners and top sellers for a year or two but the people you'll always remember are rappers like biggie. Movies? Justin Beiber has a movie. I do like T.I but not cause of glitter and flash.
