Jim Rogers asks Jeffrey Halley whether there is a sound currency in the world, so he could hold it for the next 10 years.

  • norwegian black metal is awesome... if they have sound money backed by gold then ill move there

  • The very fact that less than 2,000 persons in the world have watched this video is very bad news.

  • jim is rich but still listens to his peers, that's rare

  • Not strong, its strong as a local currency because not many other people use it, look at the Icelandic Kroner and what happened when the rest of the world decided it was safe. Massive amounts of capital inflating the value of the currency, the bubble collapsed recently and well.... they are trying to get into the Eurozone, less secaptable to currency speculation.

  • What about the Norwegian Krone? Is that a safe currency? I think it is.

  • Throughout history, there's yet to be a currency that's increased in value. Every currency that's ever been made , esp.that's been dropped from the gold standard, has ultimately collapsed. Money should be an investment. Only money that's ever kept it's value is throughout time is GOLD.

  • guns. the only investment that appreciates and protects itself. guns will become the world new currency.

  • greenbacks

  • Also I would have to say Chinese YUAN if you can get your hands on them. They don't trade on forex markets, because it is pegged to a basket of currencies, but I'd call it a safe currency and I'd say at SOME point it is going to have to move up, whether or not the Chinese want it to
