Only when pride is quarantined by humility can we abide in the vine so as to bear fruit as the Spirit brings them forth from within us. No room for performance - it must be surrendered. Catholic doctrine says that Mary was born with out sin, But it says in the bible, the one that I read, that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Why are there Catholic shrines dedicated to Mary or saints, with no cross of pictures or statues of Christ? Evangelicals don't set up shrines or holy places dedicated to Martin Luther or other dead Evangelicals and send up prayers to them or ask the to intercede on our behalf and influence what God does for us.

We worship God as all Christians do. We acknowledge saints and Mary and look up to them for guidance like the Jews looked up to the prophets. Please stop accusing us Catholics of worshiping saints because it is very wrong.
