ECHO is junk,gotta get yourself a STIHL,or husqvarna,maybe sachs dolmor or jonsered,but i would never buy an ECHO.

This is not a saw for blocking firewood. The chain is too small an so is the engine.
I like the feel of it as a branch cutter but not for blocking or felling.
I did have to use it for 5 full cords of blocking and the oiler has to be on max because the little chain is not aggressive enough. Sharpening is annoying too if cuttig anything harder than cherry. I recommend a Stihl 50cc or larger

i got the 310 "cheapie" but it kicks ass, 2 chords of oak, up to 28inch rounds then i use the logsplitter, it starts and runs great
