Hi I am still in the research stage of soapmaking and i would like to know what you line the sides of the woodwn part of your mold with? Oh and the yellow foam thingy, what is that? I am in Australia so our names for things can be different. eg: Lye is called caustic soda here. Your vidoe is very clear and informative. Thank you....!

@BeautifulBubblesSoap Thanks Claire.

your molds look similar to the molds I made today. I basically made two soap boxes, each one contains 2 gallons by volume. I have not used them yet.

What did you use to line the wood?

@NaomiChambers I line and glue 1/32" thick Lexan, which is similar too, but is harder than plexiglass. The dividers are 1/8" thick Lexan. The yellow foam we use on the bottom is called Fun Foam which we got from Walmart. These 12 bar molds take a 42 oz batch for 1" thick bars.
