Craig Crawford - Congressional Quarterly Contributing Editor -- speaks with Countdown's Keith Olbermann to analyze the previous night's Democratic Debate at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.

Edwards on the attack - Obama less so - but everyone had Senator Hillary Clinton in their crosshairs. Hillary had difficulties defending her support of the New York governor's driver's license proposal. Meanwhile, Biden continued his broadside attack on Rudy Giuliani and his fitness for office.

"Rudy Giuliani, there's only three things he mentions in a sentence; a noun, and a verb and 9/11. There's nothing else."
-Senator Joe Biden, (D-DE)

  • Well, if Hillary wins and then wins another 4 yrs... that means at that point the US will have spent 28 years straight with either a Clinton or a Bush as president. That goes against the grain of this country I think... though it's the 12 years of Bushs that bother me the most!

  • I luv the presidential race. What a fkn circus!

  • Olberman ROCKS!

  • Plagiarism is a BS charge. Guiliani is a BS politician.

Biden should have been the Democratic candidate ... Democrats are fools for focusing on these controversial frontrunners.

  • The dept of education isn't well funded. As long as our priorities are to be a War Economy at the expense of our infrastructure, education and other beneficial programs, of course non of the programs will work well.

  • Note, he voted NO on a bill to dissalow women to go across state lines to have an abortion (in the event Roe v Wade were overturned.) He says that if the federal government is to make a law to protect a civil liberty, (as the pro-life/pro-choice debate is about whose civil liberty is being denied), it should be made as an amendment to the constitution. Otherwise, the decision should be made at the state level.

  • I am personally pro-choice and have a hard time supporting Paul because of it. But, his viewpoint is very admirable. His rationale for overtunring Roe v Wade is not because HE is pro-life (although he is), but that a civil rights decision should not hinge on the changing of a judge.

  • The department of education is a disaster. Why take money away from local government and give it to the Feds so they can initiate policy like No Child Left Behind. Since we have had these policies, US education has diminished. Keep educational monies local and let the politicians who know their communities best initiate their own policies.

  • LMFAO! and i am partial to the conservatives!

  • I've seen Keith and met Mr. Crawford. He's a very nice man.

  • It has nothing to do with names. It has to do with ideology and agendas.
