@emcaloonjr Yea...to bad it was a trick. He palmed the bullet so the gun was empty. They show you that in the next scene.

@emcaloonjr No doubt Denzel/Malcolm is bad ass in this scene, but it's revealed later in the movie that he palmed the bullet, so there was no risk. He wasn't actually risking his life. It was a bluff. Not that it didn't make Rudy shit his pants though.

This is obvious to me that washington's character is manic. No emotional stable human being would place a gun to his head and pull a stunt like this. If you think about it, the reason why he "isn't afraid to die" is because he is willing to risk his life and place a gun to his head to make a silly point of dominance.
