The First Winter Storm of the Winter 2009/2010

This video was filmed at 6.45pm GMT on November 13th 2009, after the UK Met Office issued it's first winter storm warning of the 2009/2010 winter season. Unlike American winter storms, British winter storms have excessive amounts of rainfall (between 2½ and 3 inches of rain in a 24 hour timeframe) and winds sustained at tropical storm force with gusts as high as Cat 1 hurricane strength. According to forecasts, this could be the first of several over the next week
