In bulgaria, which is far more democratic then in Australia, an act is consedered "self defence" if you are being attacked with the same weapon and if you have the evidence for that.
Otherwise we would all kill people in alleged "self defence".
Fact of the matter is - Palfreeman was almost unharmed. And Andrei Monov is dead.
There were no fingerprints on the Knife of Palfreeman which proves 2 things - he wiped the handle, which proves that he was thinking quite clearly.

@BradMilne101 Yeah... there's CCTV footage AND police statements that support his story. There's even forensic evidence that shows there's a very good chance it wasn't his knife. It's entirely likely the poor, stupid kid fell on his own weapon.
Either way, the case against Jock is NOT beyond reasonable doubt. It would have been thrown out of an Australian court months ago.

Hi, all you outraged morons out there. I think you forgot a little detail here: he killed a man. period. It is absolutely not relevant what idiotic excuses he and his moron famly will fabricate from here on. And he stabbed him in the back...in self-defense...sure LOL and all his brave buddies took their asses to Britain and other states, where the killer is worth more than the victim. Why didnt they stay in Sofia 2 protect him???? Innocent yeah sure...LOL LOL

An innocent angel who carries a knife? A person concerned for their safety chooses to go out late at night drinking alcohol? A Victim who is saved, but vanishes without trace? NO WAY. This is simply a case of a bastard thug who arms himself, gets on the piss and behaves like a thug and now so other poor bastard (AKA The real Victim) is dead.
