  • The engines are not off (or even throttled all the way back), you can hear the propellers biting and engines whining on approach. This is just an artifact of the sampling rate of the camera that happens to sync with the prop rotation.

  • Bronco de geakste!!! Waar is dit btw??

  • I've always loved the Bronco. Very cool and tough little birds.

  • @ist1195 the ov-10 bronco is used a spotter plane for the California department of forestry or also know as Cal Fire

  • Dornier Do - 28 is so wonderful :)

  • @rockenrolltome

It is a Dornier because it had been designed and built by Dornier works in Oberpfaffenhofen (close by Munich).

It´s the Do 28 light transport for the German Luftwaffe of the 60ies and 70ies. Nick named "Bauernadler" which could be translated into "farmers eagle".

  • @JG300Ascout also if you look at the "eagle eye" (the black/white thing that's mounted in front of the engine on the prop for scaring the birds)

  • love the Bronco. Is it in active service anywhere still?

  • @planecrazynl Exceptional? man... if only you could see this beast in combat in the Philippines piloted by women... just above 10feet of the coconut tree line... you could hear even the god damned Abu Sayaf say ahhh.. LOl

  • I've been to Oshkosh for more than 20 years and I don't think I've seen either of these planes. Great vid! JR (C182RG)

  • Im quite used to the OV-10 thanks to Cal-Fire, but that Do-28 is one hell of a unique aircraft. I have never seen anything like it.
