never tried the LMs on a RC. How are they at Road America? Thats the only RC I seem to have a good pace at with the road cars LOL

@killerbng LM's are great on roadies!! Some even say they are the best road car on iRacing...while they aren't really a road car I think people who say that are referring to the 'fun factor.' They are good at Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, LRP, Sonoma, Mosport...pretty much any road course without 1st gear F1 style turns (Zandvoort is crazy in these cars). You can really throw the LM around and it is quite forgiving and a lot of fun on road courses.

@raffiican I tried the LM yesterday @ Road America...it really really really sucked.....I was using the baseline though and I even did a handful of tweaks to make it more of a road car and I have to say, it didnt make any difference what I did,....there was NO REAR GRIP on exit..........to get out of any turn I had to be in 4th gear or no traction (even 2nd gear 5% throttle was too much). So all in all I would need an actual setup before I ever think of the LM on a RC again :/

@killerbng hmmm....that's never been a problem for me (I'll assume for arguments sake you didn't jump out of a Williams and into a LM...that would explain things differently). I mean, rear grip is usually a small issue on the LM but it doesn't have killer hp so it's not normally a big problem. I use a setup from another driver, but I'd be happy to share it with you if you want to send me contact info in a pm I'll get it to you. Let me know, cause otherwise you're missing out on a fun ride!

do u have to actually buy the cars to race with real usd or in game or what??

@rcbasherz some cars come with the game and some are a one-time purchase. For instance a new Street Stock is due to arrive for Christmas, and it will be free to all iRacing subscribers. Others you have to pay for like the recent Williams F1 car.

MadCat360, I agree totally...it seems like everyone knows how fun these cars are on road courses. We definitely need a road championship.
