Because Mayor Warmington needed a reason to keep his bar open. That's why it is not even going to downtown Muskegon which is on the lakefront.

WHY did the owners of this ferry decide to operate it out of MUSKEGON? Grand Haven would've been a much better city (their are things to do in that city).
