@999m4em actually i did not say anything about what was going on in Kuwait. i said "come home safely" which is a perfectly legitimate statement that poses no judgements towards any country's safety or standing with the US. you brought up this 'ignorant' shit, which in actuality is quite ignorant of you because i would say "come home safely" if they were in England, Australia, Africa, South America...anywhere really. it just so happens that they were playing for soliders at WAR bases at the time.

I was at this concert. It was definitely in Iraq and it was probably the highlight of my time there.... Please dont try and ruin that memory

Jeez take it easy guys, Kuwait is a transition point for troops going to or coming from Iraq. Most troops spend 2 to 3 weeks there prepping to go home or up to Iraq. Only a very few of them are there permanently, and I can tell you it is worse than being up north, not dangerous just barren. They stopped to play there because because it just so happened that there was a lot of troops there at the time.

@999m4em Really a luxurious life in Kuwait? Well im not to sure what part of Kuwait your in put the places Ive been it still seems like a shit hole to me. Ya the country is rich in general, but for the most part life still sucks there. Im sure the troops even deployed to Kuwait still wanna come home, seems like your fine with living there, so keep your ass there. O and nicest houses and cars? I didnt know a mud hut and a shitty Toyota was luxury. hmm weird....

avenged sevenfold isn't just a rock band. these guys have hearts. they're also brothers. going out into iraq to play for our troops? amazing. i can't even describe it any further how awesome these guys are not only in their music, but also as people. god bless our troops and A7X FOR FUCKING LIFE!!!!!!
