Making wine isn't as complicated as people might think, and Inmate Brewing is even easier.

The guys I mention in the video and their channels are as follows:

CraigTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/CraigTube

merddyn2002: http://www.youtube.com/user/merddyn2002

These guys gave me the info and motivation to start up this hobby and I deffinately recommend taking a look at their videos. They've also been nothing but supportive and helpful to me and just wanna say thanks guys, it is much appreciated.

Thanks for watching.

Check out part 2.

  • and what do you do after 6 days of fermenting? i thought there was something else you had to do

  • @WubaWubaLeprechaun Watch my other wine making vids (part 2 + 3 and troubleshooting etc) it should keep you right.

  • i have tried almost every receipe for inmate brew, homemade wine from juice, whatever,i started with yours and craigtubes, the only thing you guys do that seems to be incorrect is putting the airlock on right away,i have tried it your way and tony spinnellies way,his way works much better by leaving the brew open to the air 4 the first 5 days then putting the air lock on.the yeast needs oxygen to ferment.you should try this and c what u think...............

  • @Mr19dave75 Thanks for bringing that to my attention, will definately give it a try on my next batch... new video maybe with (drunken) results?

  • just one question, does this actually taste like wine or a screwdriver ? what if you wanted to make your own juice and crush up some grapes & mixed some sugar water would that work to?

  • @horsefly4 well it doesn't taste like your everyday table wine... it has more of a 'kick' - is the only way to describe it... it also depends on sugar content, type of yeast used (bread, champagne, desert) etc. only way to know is experiment.

  • Hmm I actually thought there was a Specific type of yeast you had to use for fermenting.

  • @VaperSteve1975 excuse me,it wont die it will produce ethanol without oxygen

  • @VaperSteve1975 yeast will die without oxygen

  • @VaperSteve1975 i guess you have never seen wine made by a professional....anyway i am not really interested in what you think so thanks anyway.the way i make wine works great ...............

  • @Mr19dave75 Yeast does not need oxygen to ferment, it needs it to reproduce. Fermentation is an anaerobic process.

  • @Mr19dave75 yes to create carbon dyocside you need the oxygane first brava

  • i also used bread instead of yeast and koolaid

  • is it better to use a 2 liter or a garbage bag i got my hooch in a garbage bag its been fermenting we also cook it in hot water once a day thats how i learned to do it in jail
