nice solo bro, thinking of getting one of these guitars myself.
how does it handle rock and early metal style on it with the EMG 81? would you recommend getting this guitar, or the patriot custom?

Hello,
Its definetly a "metal" sounding guitar, but more of the new metal sound, not old.
Im not sure if they make this one anymore and the patriot custom comes with passive pups I believe. That would be better for what you are looking for.
