@Bbendfender Not only running ones, and type of plane can be dangerous walking around it. Even if it is shut down.

@nocalsteve The RRHB was hooked up to the Aircraft, this video is very grainy, It did slow the Aircraft a little, But was damaged after the SNA applied power. The T45 RRHB is NOT maintained by the Ship, it was transported by the maintenance packup and delivered to V2 upon arrival/onload. The investigation after this incident thought the RRHB was a fault, But the SNA was the ultimate culprit. The Green shirt suffered only bruises and a broken arm. Could have been alot worse. SEMPER FI.

Further comment on gunner9162, since the shuttle was not retracted, The Flight Deck crew would have moved behind the foul lines for launch sequence. I worked with the T45 contractors for 20 years, and this incident was blamed on the SNA not following yellow shirt directions. SEMPER FI.

It is a T-45A Goshawk training aircraft. Looked like launch was aborted for what ever reason and the plane was let forward a bit to release some steam pressure from the CAT before it could be unhooked? I do not think that was a actual launch.
