Forty Blinks

Created for the 48 Hour Film Project Fall Shootout 2007, The required elements were:
1. "Tales of the Hatuchama" back-story, code of conduct & opening animation (assigned to all entrants in this competition)
2. Lead character: A female member of the Hatuchama
3. Line of dialogue: "That's the Hatuchama Way"
4. Prop: Adhesive tape
5. Genre: Action/Adventure/Comedy

The "Hatuchama" introduction (the text & narration before the animation) was added later, so that the film can stand on its own outside the context of the competition (in which this was a common backstory, and thus did not require explanation).
