A short film that shows the reality of adoption from the point of view of the children has been produced by BAAF. Three Stories: One Family follows the story of three children adopted into one family. Rachel and her sister Charlene were adopted at the ages of four and two, then, six years later, William joined the family when he was six.
In the film, the children speak openly about their experiences of being in foster care, meeting their adoptive parents for the first time, becoming part of the family, and what is was like for them all when William joined the family.
The DVD is available free of charge to anyone who signs up to BAAF's Adoption Champions scheme at level 3.
