you buy a computer u dont own windows os is the same all operating systems are not own they are lisensed that why sony did some thing about jailbreak on ps3 but did nuthin about psp psp was hardware wire a cross battery ps3 software

Installing custom firmware on your ps3 is the same as jailbreaking your iphone, running free apps, made free by people as a hobby, on a device you bought, you own it, not apple,not sony, not anyone, they can't walk into your house and take it back, but they seem to think they can.
