The troops will come home by October and the war will essentially "end" in the sense that stabilization of the region will take another form. It isn't just the Democrats who are against the war. More and more Republicans in Congress are too. Many have hinted off the record that by Sept... that is it!! Bush's approval rating: 28%. And the other 70%? That ain't all young people. As for the small minority who's for all of this... Put down the kool-aid and wake up to REALITY!!!

I don't believe our actions if Afganistan will win any hearts or minds since all seem to do is bomb innocent civilians. Maybe US should let other countries decide how they want to live. What do you think CROAT? What's going on there?

Here's a terrific video of an outstanding civic action -- documenting that the passion for peace runs deep in San Diego, and that the people who are demanding an end to the U.S. occupation of Iraq cross all ages, colors and class. Thank goodness for YouTube and sdforpeace for bringing the message you'll never hear on your local news!

San Diego, long known as a conservative military town, has finally had it with this illegal, immoral, unjustified war. Kudos to all of you who showed up, made all the awesome signs and marched in the streets against Bush's "Surge" which will do nothing but put more blood on his hands.
