This is me in the role of "Claude" singing "I Got Life" from the American Tribal Love Rock Musical, HAIR. I'm the redhead of course. The pictures are from various scenes. Audio not bad for recording a live performance outdoors in the sweltering heat.
You are thinking of the film, right? The movie almost nothing like the original play. Claude is a hippie, leader of the tribe, and is from Hoboken NJ and is not a country boy. He sings "I Got Life", as well as "Hair" also, he dies in vietnam not berger, coming back as a ghost to sing, "The Flesh Failures". The film is wonderful, but NOT to be compared to the original play. Other differences are that Sheila is an NYU student and a protester, not a debutante, and sings "Easy to Be Hard".
isn't it singing Burgner in the original ?

Thanks for the comment! We were a tight group. Claude is such a hard role. I was as confused on who he is as he is supposed to be in his character.
