Yes there are. There are also Clubs where you can pay an admission fee and you will be supplied with a deck chair and an umbrella for the day. Certain hotels in Sliema might also have an arrangement with Beach Clubs.

i used to live in gzira aswell, it has been ruined by all the homosexuals and transvestites, and generally dodgy people that hang around it, it does not feel safe.

We stayed here last summer too, with family in Ganni Bencini st. It was our 3rd trip to Malta. I hope we get to come back again.
