@TrainerPalmBay — Nice review. Well-written. Please handle and show us the Sennheiser HD 650 while you make your points about them and how they compare to other headphones. I love these headphones. I am actually getting them in the mail soon. I've exhaustively researched what the best headphones are. These are maybe number three or four, but their price is just where I feel comfortable…… $330 on Amazon. BOOM!

@canadia7x Ya no kiddin...lol When I saw those #'s I was like.. whoa need a good amp for that one..lol so I went for the IE8's instead.

@hawaiiancerveza True. 300 Ohms impedance is a large number, so they need a large amount of power to run.

The 650's are lovely headphones, but Sennheiser has been around since the 1940's not 90's

.. from waht I understand the hd 600-50 don't do well with any un amped set up.....
