I've watched their live streams; This game is going to be a dream come true for FIM fans and fighting game enthusiasts alike. The developers are really focused on quality and getting everything just right. Even in Alpha, their work so far has been very impressive.

Take the smooth, intuitive controls from Street Fighter, the fast action of Marvel vs. Capcom, and the crazy combo numbers of Killer Instinct.

Now add the characters from Friendship is Magic.

And take away a price tag.

@rehtlh Well i dont say Twilight is actualy overpowered but: Perhaps you forgot she can teleport to evase and confuse the enemy and she can drop this 'magical sheet' wich stuns or atleast prevents the enemy to strike back oh and her 'ultimate' that laserbeam or when she practicaly blows up everything is better than applejack's ultimate for example . Just saying Twilight is a bit more powerful to my opinion than Applejack... Yes im a brony

I think something that a lot of people who think Twilight is overpowered isn't really getting is that this video is intentionally showcasing her. Of course she is going to be kicking ass. They are showcasing her combos and abilities. In the full game, she's going to be balanced. Mane6 knows exactly what they're doing with this game.

@ADYeggs What makes Twilight balanced, in my opinion, is the fact that she does very little damage per hit. If someone gets right on top of her, it overwhelms her. She needs to try to keep her distance to be most effective. A good Applejack or Pinkie player can totally beat Twilight.
