Marijuana and Coffee are Good for the Brain

Gary Wenk, professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at The Ohio State University discusses what happens to our brains as we age. Low doses of marijuana seem to stimulate the brain in positive ways. Coffee acts as another stimulant that is proving helpful. Professor Wenk also talks about the best method to slow down the aging process.

Actually its the carcinogens in the tobaco smoke that cause cancer. A recent Unvivercity studied showed that people who smoked weed actually have a higher lung capacity later in life than cig smokers AND non-smokers. At least according to a study published in Jan. 11 edition of Journal of the American Medical Association. A reliable source if u ask me. They think its because of the way its inhaled and held rather than evacuated immidiately as with a normal breath or cig. Thanks for sharing :)

The seizure rates at the US border also should convince us to tax, legalize and regulate to starve the Mexican cartels of their lifeline. In 2009, almost 1.5 million kilos of cannabis were seized along the Mexican border the second highest item seized, Cocaine, only 17,085 kilos. Real Americans are loosing their lives fighting the border war and regulation could halt a lot of trafficking, keeping US dollars at home where they belong.

George Washington and other founding fathers grew hemp and it seems very likely used it for euphoric purposes. Cannabis is much safer than alcohol. In the last 30 years however there have been over 22 million arrests for cannabis, incarcerating non-violent offenders, and branding many youths lifelong criminals driving them to commit more crime.

this guy is closer to the truth than most of the "it's harmless crowd" I smoked 1/3 oz of duct coffee shop weed for 7 years I have met 100's of heavy smokers. the physical withdrawal was minor but lasted nearly a year I averaged 4 hour a night sleep for over 6 months. irritability was pretty bad for the firs 4 months I have seen loads of people change for the worst withdrawn introverted recluses and a hole bunch of psychotic episodes I still think its a safe'ish drug and should be legalised
