So I'm watching the Vice Presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden and I heard Palin's pronunciation of the word Nuclear, as in "nucleus".
Senator Biden pronounces it correctly:
New-Klee-Ar.
She actually pronounces it the same funny way George W. Bush does. Key-oot.

The fact that I made note of this one particular gaffe is no indication of how much care I give to real issues. Are you really satisfied with the last 8 years of almost exclusive Republican leadership? Palin pronounces nuclear just like Bush and it makes me cringe, as he is as unpopular with me as he is with over 70 percent of the country.

Obama is not my perfect candidate, but I can assure you I won't be voting for a corporation loving Republican anytime soon.

Have you seen the words Obama mispronounces. Someone should put the phonetic versions on the teleprompter for him. Lots of people mispronounce words. The question is whether they understand what the word means. "Core-" man (corpsman) vs. a "corpes-" man.

It is worth pointing out that, during the course of the 2000 Presidential debates, there were multiple occasions where Algore referred to Social Security as "So security", leaving off the aecond syllable of "social". Is one's pronunciation of a word any reason to not elect them?
