So we're not going to find out what's in the healthcare bill until it's passed?

  • Did she really say that?

  • @dooglla09 Yes.

  • She clearly meant 'you won't understand why the bill is beneficial to you until it is passed, because people like Fox news, who are creating such controversy, are making this bill seem like the work of the devil"

  • @Virginityrocks Wow. Thanks for interpreting that for us. So this queen wonder woman meant something other than what she said? So you can't count on anything she says because we're too stupid to figure it out anyway? Thanks for helping us all out. We very well know what she meant and only kool-aid drinkers on the left would interpret it differently.

  • @bpentium I really think you're deluded if you think that a Healthcare bill, (which the US government has been trying to get though, republican or democrat for decades) is the government's way of turning the US into a socialist state. Many countries around the world exercise some form of national healthcare system.

But why not? Fire, police and education are all nationally funded (funded, not controlled by) the government. Something as ESSENTIAL as someone's health should be as well.

  • @Virginityrocks How about heating oil? How about free gasoline? How about everything free huh? You're deluded to think that it's good we take money from people that work hard, scrimp and save only to have it taken away to give to a bunch of moochers that feel they deserve it.

If you don't work, you don't eat.

  • @Virginityrocks Yeah, that'd be great. I'd love to not have to worry about health care. My point is that I'd also like to not have to worry about a mortgage, or grocery bills, or any of the other expenses related to life. It's not the government's place to take care of ANY of that for me.

This administration is grossly overextending the power (and, by extension, the cost) of the federal government.

  • What about the fog? What fog? I'd like to take her out into the fog ,and make her disappear. If you know what I mean..

  • @Virginityrocks what does it matter how much health care you have when you won't have a country or a life if we do not have the worlds greatest most powerful military!! Carry a BIG STICK!!! PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!!!

  • @Virginityrocks ha ha ha ha what an idiot you are, if this is how you think government should work you deserve everything you get. Spreading the wealth is more like spread your cheeks so the government can bend you over. Oh i forgot you might like that. You are gross!

  • @nellis003 Then I suggest they reduce military spending to compensate.

  • @nellis003 I would think that people would be happier knowing that their health is covered. That there are no exceptions to what type of illness you develop. That someone with AIDs or Cancer doesn't have to worry about paying for medication or chemo. The bill will also cause over-the-counter drug costs to plummet until they are as cheap as they are in Canada. Poor people need health care too.

  • @Virginityrocks I'm aware of what the FDA does. But they have absolutely nothing to do with the argument I'm making.

I'm saying that there has to be a line somewhere. The government doesn't need to guarantee health care for every American any more than it needs to feed every American. The whole basis of this country is founded on the PURSIT of happiness, not the government bringing it to your doorstep.

  • @nellis003 Mmm. It's called the FDA. The food and drug association. A government program that makes sure that your food isn't contaminated and meets a certain health standard. They also finance shelters for homeless and provide free food for those who desperately need it.
