He started playing the piano when he was 3 years old. He went to India to play jazz. And he was the founder and conductor of The Squadronaires, a band that was - as it's name may indicate - created during WWII. We're talking of course of Ronnie Aldrich, the man whose name will be linked forever to the words "two pianos". Indeed, when The Squadronaires disbanded in 1964, Aldrich joined the Decca company as composer, arranger, orchestrator and ...pianist. Some fifteen years later, Aldrich had recorded more than 40 albums, most of them released under the "Phase 4" 'super stereo' label. Today we present the title melody of one of these great albums, "In The Gentle Hours" which was released in 1975.
Magical music for magical moments .... but you can enjoy it 'anytime you like' from now on ;-) .....

It is truly beautiful, every note and sound of a piano in each ear, plus the strings soften the every piano note perfectly, it's just nice!
