This comes from the Closing Ceremonies of AIDS/LifeCycle 7. After leaving the San Francisco Cow Palace on Sunday, we finally arrived at the Los Angeles VA Center on Sunday. This 7-day, 545-mile bicycle journey was so much more than just another bike ride. This experience has changed my life. As the youngest rider, I was honored to bring in the Riderless Bicycle with Richard, the oldest rider of ALC7 of 81 years. The Unworn Helmet placed on the saddle of the bike represents all the riders who have lost the fight against HIV and AIDS. I would like to thank my dad for flying down to LA to film this and to every rider, roadie, and event organizer who make this phenomenal experience possible: Thank you.
fuck and im crying again!

Thanks Aaron (and your dad!). One day, maybe you can be the "oldest rider"! Sarah, ALC7 Rider #1613
