I think Henry really loved her in the beginning, but it faded as he became more and more eager for a son.

Its Cathrine Of Aragon Not Kathrine Of Aragon!!!

Ol' Katherine of Aragon may well have been the first, best truest wife of Henry VIII, but she sure as hell had lousy taste in head wear.........

catherine of aragon was his true wife and he should of never left her.

Amen! I haven't seen this vid in ages, though, this woman knows what she is talking about. Though, I have a great deal of fondness for some of his other wives, Katherine will always be queen of my heart.

Oh! A commercial. ;)

I agree, Kate is the one for me. A true patriot to this country - unlike her treasonous husband who started pointless wars and was prepared to risk civil war and possibly even foreign invasion just so he could get a younger woman.
As a second choice I will have Catherine Parr.

Absolutely! The one true wife to that bloodied tyrant!
What did Churchill call him? The biggest Blot on the page of english history! I think it was a blot of ink though from his pen when he was writing one of his histories! :))

i think whichever one of henry VIII wives a girl or woman is interested in most, shows alot about that womans character.

I was more fascinated by Katherine Howard than I was the rest of them

Katherine of Aragon was not only the most loyal of all henry's wives, but she was also the greatest queen. she ruled as regent and commanded an army against the scots, which proved her leadership skills. she was also greatly loved by all the people, not just the english but also european. she was also a strong woman. it takes a great woman to fight against the english parliament for a many years and still not give in a compromise herself. she lived as she died, with great honor and as a queen

Catherine Parr was not a "mother" to Mary. Mary was nearly thirty when her father and Catherine married.
