A mini-documentary which aired in 1996 about the puppet character who charmed and entertained millions of children and adults on Australian television for 40 years from 1959 to 1999 - Mr Squiggle.
It also serves as a profile of his brilliant alter ego, creator and operator - puppeteer and cartoonist Norman Hetherington.
The show's writer Margaret Hetherington and then-host Rebecca Hetherington (Miss Rebecca) also feature, together with Mr Squiggle's co-stars - Rocket, Blackboard and Bill Steamshovel.
Brilliant, really made my day to watch this with my kids after a couple of other clips of the shows.

Hope I'm not out of line in visualising the funeral either...with Squiggle exclaiming "He's upside down!" while Blackboard tells everyone to "Hurrry Uuuup!"

Bill Steam Shovel was the best! I thought he deserved his own show. No disrespect to Mr Squiggle himself, but old Bill was always great for a laugh.
