This is the first of five parts of a research seminar presented by Jon Austin and Andrew Hickey to the Centre for Research in Transformative Pedagogies, University of Southern Queensland, Australia. In this seminar, they discuss the contribution to the deepening of ethnographic work the application of new(er) forms of digital technologies might make. In this seminar, they briefly discuss four research projects that have incorporated digital technologies, particularly but not exclusively, photography.
