Aval Vilayikyuka

Aval Vilayikyuka is an olden recipe of India. It is prepared using beaten rice, jaggery, cashewnuts, kismis, etc. This video was shot when I was at my Aunt's home in Kerala. We prepared this recipe using the older means of prepration who has three stones and fire lit below it.

Thanks for posting this home video! this was the only recipe for aval vilayichathu that i found.nice to see the whole family involved in making this.curry leaves is the english word for "karivepilla" and sesame seeds for "ellu".
