@prodesica Personalmente trovo Bruscantini una spanna sopra tutti. Comunque Dara ha un suo modo, direi aristocratico, di presentare i personaggi che interpreta. In questo senso lo considero forse il più grande baritono buffo insieme al divino sesto. Dizione, recitazione, sobrietà... Certo, le voci di Mariotti e Panerai sono anche secondo me meglio di quella di Dara. Ma ammettiamolo, l'opera non è solo voce. Se fosse un fattore asetticamente acustico allora perfino Maria Callas andrebbe scartata.

Pavarotti and Dara are both great here. I have it on bootleg and the audience is roaring with laughter. Pavarotti is brilliant in this role. One of my favorites.
CrystalFlames, that makes 2 of us! In a heartbeat, I would have married Nemorino (Pav), straight up, no questions asked!!! What a voice, what charisma. He is the ULTIMATE man to me.
