YAY! I've released my first spriting tutorial, covering scratch spriting. The text on the video scrolls by quickly, so please, feel free to pause and read, because it may be important.
Like I said in the video, there are some capitalized words with stars after them. These words are the terminology for unique skills in spriting, that not every sprite needs. I only sprite in Pokemon style, so it all depends on what style you sprite in;
Highlights: This is the simple action of adding small or a single dot, using the lightest shade or white, to the lightest area to emphasize the shine. There are different ways of highlighting, for example, what I said above, or when you are shading a metallic block, where the edges will have a line of highlighting to show the shininess.
Anti-Aliasing(AA-ing): Usually not noticeable to the common eyes. This technique is used often to smoothen the edges of sharp edges or blend the colors better with outlines. For instance, I had put the lighter shade around the outline to remove the deep contrast the outline had with the white background. There are some drawbacks with using AA-ing though. If the sprite is posted on a black or dark background, the AAing will be exposed as little dots along the outline, which is bad.
Can you please tell me the names of the music you used?

@Cr3sentMoon This song is from a game called "Ragnarok Battle Offline." I don't know if you'll be able to find the sound file for it.

I don't speak Portuguese if you don't understand the obvious.
Oh, but there are things called translators.
Learn how to use constructive criticism instead of spitting profanity with your native tongue. God, what ignorant people.
