John Carpenter's original idea for the HALLOWEEN series was changing the subject matter with each film. The actual movie HALLOWEEN was so popular that they had to pump out a sequel quickly to match other Slashers at the time. Mainly FRIDAY THE 13TH.
HALLOWEEN III would have started a whole new idea on "Horror Movies" with it's ever changing subject matter. Too bad the public just didn't get it. Still, the HALLOWEEN series is great not matter what!

HMM im watching this movie and cant get enough! MM is played out, this is more sinister in its meaning of halloween and that it could really happen MM was killed to many times u foolzz... And probably will jus not this way....

H3 was not intended to have Myers in it. Myers was supposed to be dead in H2. The Halloween franchise was supposed to be an anthology, something I think would have made Myers even more epic. The sooner people realize that the sooner they can appreciate this fun horror flick.
