Travel-Travel Video PostCard
Antigua in the Eastern Caribbean is a Caribbean Island unlike many others. Antigua is only 14 miles long but the beaches of Antigua are some of the best in the Caribbean. Antigua beaches are white and soft like talcum and powdery, and the waters of Antigua's many beaches are so blue they seem unreal.
Antigua is perfect for sailing and wind surfing and all Family Travel fun. The trade winds of Antigua in the Caribbean are gentle and are ideal for sailors and water sports. The coral reefs of Antigua are also perfect for Family Travel and Adventure Travel because the coral reefs of Antigua in the Caribbean are ideal for snorkelers and scuba diving. Scuba Diving and Sailing are favorite activities in Antigua.
But Antigua is very real. Antigua is a wonderful mix of the rough and the beautiful. Goats and cows still wander the paths of the island and the capital of Antigua, St. Johns, is all about authentic Caribbean Island life.

  • antigua was my least favorite island that i've visited. it is poor and dirty. you don't see that on these videos. the water is a vivid blue, until you get in. it's pretty murky at the beach. if you want to do some snorkeling, you'll have to get on a boat away from the beach. if you go to a beach, you get harassed by islanders trying to make money any way they can. we spent about two hours at church hill beach and was approached no less than 20 times. the people seem very nice other than that.

  • @bludragonfly180 well, you know, each person has his or her own unique experience. We could return and have an entirely different experince than the one we had. Who can say. But thanks for writing in

  • We recently visited the island of St. Lucia. It was simply amazing. We stayed in one of the beautiful hotels Islelander had recommended. Overall the staff was fantastic, and not to mention how friendly the locals were. The one problem we did have was quickly rectified by our Islelander guide Miguel. Wonderful Island for couples and singles. one last thing before I end this; I want to thank Janus and his Islelander team for making our vacation easy and hassle free. . Cindy

  • Thanks for writing, We hope to have a St Lucia TVP up soon. Glad you had a good time, Cindy

  • Thoughtful comment...thanks for writing. But that's typical in all hospitality-oriented services, no?

  • Taxis do not have a set rate because like most things in the island there are disorganized and lazy. It is up to you to visit but for me one time was to many.

  • You say one visit was too much..but you're from Antigua/Barbuda. What do you mean then about one visit?? How could you visit if you live there?
