I watched the movie for a second time and it just went off half an hour ago at 2:30 a.m. and it just suddenly struck me how powerful it was.

Why are there movies like so and so make a porno when there is pure gold like this?

It deserves multiple awards.

It's disheartening when an intellient, complex story like this doesn't get the studio support it deserves. Studios target the lowest common denominator which keeps getting lower and lower and lower. Beautiful and surprising film with a soundtrack to match, and which gives a clue as to David's true nature and abilities.

I must say, if your looking to make a "super-hero" movie, you must watch this movie. It gives you a different perspective then you could really get in other "super-hero" films. I love how it's more of a drama, then an action film. I love my action flicks, but I think if you really wanted to take a comic and turn it into a serious movie, this film shows you how to ground it in bealivability.
