    Quick story. I came across this song randomly on youtube, and was mesmerized. So I really started to get into abdel halim. I usually listen to bands like radiohead. But I am very opened to different types of music.I asked my father to listen to this song, being from a middle eastern family and all. My dad tells me this story of his life, and how obsessed he was with this man, and that this was his hero when he was my age.He told me when he found out he died, he was completely devestated.

    Halim passed away 35 years ago but I love his songs. I listen to his songs when I am tired or down. His songs never sound old.
