QuickMark releases its 2D (Quick Code, QR Code, Data Matrix) and 1D (EAN 13) barcode decoder for the iPhone with continuous, automatic scanning. Now available on iTunes App Store.

  • Yes, it can read vcards and also save the contact to iphone. You can buy the QuickMark decode license from Apple App store.

  • @atan0k Ever since I upgraded to the iPhone4, the auto scan on this app does not work... which is odd, since the new camera is so much higher quality and can focus much cleaner. Hopefully they'll release an update for us paying customers.

  • @VJExavior If only not every smartphone in North America was an iPhone...

  • It costs $2 in the app store. They have a free version but it does not auto scan. Without auto scan it takes 5-10 photos before you get the code, depending on lighting and size of code. Also, the iPhone v1 and 3G cameras don't focus up close, which makes reading QR codes really hit or miss.

    A free QR reader that accurately does real time scanning is pretty much all that is preventing QR codes from being adopted in North America.

    QuickMark _could be_ a pioneer.
