thanks but do you know how to fix the try mine sometimes when it does open it closes like 5 seconds later unless you tup on it to the sid and it wont close on you and somethimes it wont open at all last time i got my hand stuck in the tray trying to put the disk in and it didnt feel to good

umm i don't want to have the take the top off my xbox everytime i try to play a game (mainly skyrim cause it kicks ass!!) any other PERMENANT solutions?

1. you never leave your xbox on when taking it apart
2. not everyone has ur model of the drive. so when you make a video you have to be specific of what DRIVE you are using. Because people with benq drives have an attatched magnet
3. in order to take off the top peice, you need to unscrew the screws. you just said take it off. your going to get people to fuck up their xboxs if you arent specific of what you are doing.
