AIDA * Course in the Submarine Escape Training Tank (SETT) in Gosport, taught by Deeper Blue (see http://www.deeperblue.net/courses for more information).

One of only a handful of such facilities, the tank trains submariners from around the world in a swimming pool 6m across and 28m deep. Amongst the students on the class were members of BSAC London No.1 Branch, see http://www.londondiver.com

In response to certain comments, please note that the sequence between 2:02 and 2:48 is a simulated diver rescue drill .

To see the video in HD, visit http://www.vimeo.com/1033010

Soundtrack is 'Want II' by Michael Brook.

  • @827806 u eaqulize them bud...

  • @Cavar21 you can find some vids on youtube that'll give you some tips. you basically force air out of your ears by plugging your nose and gently blowing out. this will relieve all the pressure that you feel. I do it every 5-7 feet down or so

  • @IRONMAN2570 how u do that?

  • some people are so stupid...they just don't understand that you can EQUALIZE with the water pressure!! it doesn't hurt your ears!!

  • I went in there with my arm floaties, my nasal plug and a Bud Light...I got laughed at.

    My feelings have been damaged.

  • 2:05 blackout?
