Chapter 7- Childhood years

Sarahs POV

When I was 7, Joe had built (well had gotten built) a tree house. Our favourite hide out place. It was a secret heaven we would go to if we would want to escape the world for an amount of time. It was pretty big and full of toys and stuff (A.N just like Torys tree house in HSM3). Nick and Kevin hardly came there so it made it really special for us both, like if it was just for me and Joe and no one else. I really loved spending time with Joe, talking about stuff, mostly things that were really irrelevant like why girls are sooo much better than boys. He always got pretty pissed when I would brag about the goodness of girls and he always begged to differ. Meeh. Oh well, I tried! Amy or one of my girl friends came round every so often so I would have to leave Joe to go play with her, I needed more girl time, I was sure that I would become a boy amongst the brothers!

It was when I was 9 or 10 I think ...thats when us Phillip's went on holiday to Texas with the Jonas'. We all went to Texas for spring break for 2 weeks which was fun. I clearly remember Nick banging on the drums every other day which really annoyed me. Nick had picked up fast on the drums and was starting to sound good. I thought that soon he would be a pro. Kevin had really taken to his guitar and at that time he had 3 guitars already. Joe...well Joe being Joe had taken to the tambourine and maracas . Enough said.

So we all arrived at Texas on a Saturday evening, wed done a car journey. Me, Mom, Dad and Joe in one car and Aunt Denise, Uncle Kevin, Nick and Kevin in another car. It was a fun journey, although quite tiresome. Joe had grown into a real sweet heart and a charmer with the ladies! It was quite amusing seeing him flirt with any girl who crossed his path. The funny thing was when he would trip or do something stupid, like for instance when we went to Applebees we bumped into a friend of mine called Kimberly. He kept on smiling at her and when he waved at her, he fell off his seat and bruised his nose! Typical Joe, always falling or causing damage. We called him Danger because he was so darn dangerous. I think he should have a big, yellow caution sign stuck to his forehead at all times.

We stayed at the boys grand-parents house in Texas and I must say grand-ma and grand-pa are the best. They are like my real grandparents since mine died before I was born. I remember climbing on grand-pa's lap after dinner and he would tell us stories about the war which always fascinated me. On the other hand Joe would go off and play some stupid game with Kevin and Nick. We spent two weeks in Texas, the weather was awesome and we had a blast. We did practically everything from horse riding and water sports to golfing and baseball. I really loved spots, just like Nick. I was already on the school swimming team and junior soccer team. I absolutely love soccer and swimming, my two favourite sports in the world. Nicks really into baseball and Joe is into Wiffleball, strange.
One day we were horse riding at the stables near the house when Joe fell off the horse and managed to brake his nose. Smart Joe! Texas came and went and soon our joyous two weeks were up, we had to go back to school that next week. We said our goodbyes to grand-ma and grand-pa and all the friends that Id made there and left for the long journey ahead. This time I sat with Kevin on the way back home, talking about school and how our next year ahead was going to be like. Little did we knew that we would have to miss our first day of school for something very important...

Oo is that I cliify? Maybe-ish...okay I say it is!
So anyways I have made a resolution although its far away from New Years to post as much as possible for you guys because you guys are awesome, truly! And I didnt reach my target but so what? XP Oh and a quicky question.
What do you guys think about the new cover and song titles? I honestly CAN NOT wait! Im soo happy! But bad news! I heard somewhere that Nick and Miley are hanging out more often and probably getting back together L oh well!
