Acworth Butcher is 2009 GA Hunters for the Hungry Collection Site - Findley's Meat Co.

Findley's Meat Co. - Acworth butcher and meat shop is a collection site for venison (deer meat) for the Georgia Hunters for the Hungry. This program allows hunters to contribute meat to local food banks.

The Douglasville Retail Meat and Smokehouse, the Findley sister company, has already processed and provided over 280,000 meals for Atlanta area food banks through the generosity of local Atlanta area hunters.

If you are on the northwest side of town, it is now easier to get your deer processed and contribute to the program. All deer processing is performed in our Douglasville location. Deer must be skinned and quartered. Processing rates start at $60 for hamburger meat, roasts and steaks. Jerky processing is available with a variety of seasonings, usually providing 20% initial weight back in jerky. Sausage is mixed with either pork or beef and can also be seasoned. Jerky and sausage processing are extra.
