This is exactly what I have been asking for: 50 Mbit/s Long-GOP AVC 4:2:2 10-bit. Thank you, Panasonic. One small issue remains: AVC Ultra is 50 Mbit/s, Class 10 SD cards are 80 Mbit/s, so why not divorcing AVC Ultra from P2 and allow it on SD-based cams? Some people even shoot with hacked GH2 @ 100 Mbit/s onto SD cards! Leave P2 to big production companies, and allow smaller guys to taste 4:2:2 10-bit goodness. Big boys will be using Intra anyway. C'mon, Panasonic, make the last step.

why was there no mention of the Ikonoskop? it's an elite camera for film makers... despite the small sensor (~10mmx6mm), it takes any lense and has a solid 1.5kg Swedish design that shoots in Raw DNG @ 1080 25fps... with a 7k euro price tag, you can't really ask for more.
