  • This a very popular dish in Brazil, except for the pepper and ginger which is replaced by onion and garlic. Some people add very tiny cubes of bacon. It is a great delicious dish indeed! Thank you for the videos, Manjula!

  • oh wow that looks delicious and beautifier with the deep green contrasting with the bright red of the peppers! I am African american and I have eaten greens all my life, but I have never seen them stir fried. That is so healthy and nutritious. I have become vegan so I really appreciate your meatless and dairy free dish. thank you!

  • Needs some hot sauce

  • I love your videos and your recipes Manjula! Thanks from Toronto.

  • @dumadum1234 They're called collard greens. One of the most nutritionally-dense leafy greens you can eat :) They're my favorite. I usually sauté them in a pan with oil, balsamic vinegar and pepper. I was born and raised in the American South, where collard greens are usually served in a ham broth. But this stir fry recipe looks amazing... I'll have to try it!

  • im frm australia..pls tell me what leaves r these?????

  • nice and simple. I'll cook this tonight! Thank you!

  • Manjula, thank you so much for the recipe. I made it for dinner tonight. I didn't have cumin seeds, so I used fennel. While the collard greens were cooking, I added a teaspoon of cumin powder. The recipe came out great.

  • That looks very good and simple. I love your recipes!! Thanks Manjula.

  • Looks good!

  • Collard greens have always been one of my favorite foods, having spent half of my life in the south. Adding ginger and lemon juice sounds just delicious!

  • This looks yum ! will tell you after I make it next week .. thanks
