Part 2 of a fanfilm trilogy. ( this one is just fully edited first. )

It's Will Turner's One Day on land, and it's here in 2009. Will and Elizabeth are just finishing up dinner at IHOP. Elizabeth decides Will has gotten a bit scruffy and needs a shave. He he gets a referral to everyone's favorite barber....

Fandoms are Pirates of the Carribean, Sweeney Todd, and just for good measure, we threw in some Lord of the Rings and other randomness. Why? Because we can!

......

Inspired by the fanfic crossover challenge at the livejournal community 'turningpirate' which is all about the awesomeness of Will Turner. While I love costuming and cosplay, I can't write fanfic to save my life, so here is our contribution.

In case anyone was wondering, Colorado Springs does have a Fleet Street. You just have to drive about 50 miles east of the city in El Paso County to find it.

  • are you at iHop in the first scene? i havent been to iHop in so long...i want to go so badly now. and you have a Fleet Street near you? thats amazing, this is well filmed, the mapquest thing was funny too. where did you get your costumes from? They are really good. i need to get moving on my remake/parody thing, i love how the Joker coems for a shave, lol awesome. where did u get your razor from? sorry my comment is really random im tired and commenting as i watch the video :)

  • @imsweeneytodd

LOL Yep, IHOP in Colorado Springs. Andt he MapQuest page was what we printed out to get to Fleet Street, which took an hour to get to.

We make our own costumes; everything was pulled from our costume closets. Only things purchased for this was Sweeney's wig and razor - eBay is a wonderful thing. :D

    Glad you enjoyed!

  • @pktaxwench lol awesome. and thats great that you found a Fleet Street in Colorado, your parents let you drive an hour just to get that scene in the video? thats fantastic

and nice, i wish i knew how to make costumes, you guys have gotten a lot of costumes together, do you go to conventions or anything? you guys should cosplay at anime conventions with all the costumes that you guys have, its very impressive

I love eBay, i got my sweeney todd costume and razors for it on ebay as well

  • @imsweeneytodd LOL... wow, you make me feel old. My parents are long gone from the living world and my husband was in Iraq when we did this, so it's not like I had anyone to question it. I told him afterwards (he can only call home once a week or so) and he just said he's glad I'm getting use out of the costume. He says I've got a Peter Pan complex in that I still play and have fun.

Gah... limit on comments... see part 2.

  • @imsweeneytodd I have been to one anime convention total, average female age (80% of attendees) was 16 and the average age of creepy men with cameras was 45. I wasn't even there to cosplay, I was to help a friend with their skit entry. OMG, it was full of so many pervy creeps with hard-ons that I swore NEVER AGAIN! I cosplay at conventions geared more toward the mature crowd. That, and I loathe anime. If you lived in Asia like I have, then you'd want nothing to do with anything asian.

  • @pktaxwench yea the limit is stupid...i think its to keep people from ranting/flaming others. bleh it just pisses me off

and oh lol ok well you look a lot younger in the video. I assumed you were around 17-19 years old. but its fine, it doesnt really matter how old you are, you can still dress up and have fun, its just that now that you are older your costumes get more impressive! :D

  • @pktaxwench hmm thats strange, I dont find a huge amount of creepy pervs. I just go there to cosplay, I like cosplaying Sweeney, I get a lot of recognition and ive met some pretty awesome people at conventions. I mainly go to them to socialize with people who arent so annoying and judgmental, im not all into anime like my friends are, i just tag along with them at the cons. Thats really unfortunate that you had such a bad experience at the convention.

  • LOL, Davy Jones .... And such a shame that Will would spend is one day ashore in 10 years looking for a shave ;) ... HAHA, I had made that comment before the last line too.
