Republic vs Democracy

Our system of government was never intended to be a democracy. Although many believe that we live in one, they have never been asked to vote on the decisions made by said government. Yet they believe that they are empowered just the same. We are not.
[what happened to the romans is exactly what is happening today in america. just look at what is happening. terror attacks occur so that we are willing to give up our freedoms for security. the federal reserve is a private corporation, not a govt. entity, and it is driving the economy into a hole on purpose. the final step of this process for the elite is to cause mass hysteria and panic in which we give up our freedoms for the government (run by the elite) to help us. we have to wake up.]
